Hong Kong stocks rose 221.55 points, or 1.07 percent to close at 20,904.56 points on Wednesday.


The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 20,633.02 and 21,044.47. Turnover totaled 52.86 billion HK dollars (about 6.81 billion U.S. dollars). (1 U.S. dollar = 7.761 HK dollars)
