China enters into anti-terror cooperation with over 10 countries

(ECNS) -- China has established an anti-terror cooperation mechanism in conjunction with more than 10 countries, Lv Xinhua, spokesman of the third session of the 12th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, revealed at a press conference on Tuesday.[Special coverage]


He said China had made it a top priority to strike at East Turkistan Islamic Movement last year and aims at anti-terror cooperation with countries in South Asia, Middle Asia and Southeast Asia.


"Substantial cooperation has been carried out in terms of anti-terror information exchange, investigation of specific cases, and capacity building," Lved.


China has also deepened multilateral cooperation with the UN, Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Global Counterterrorism Forum to combat terrorism.
