(ECNS) -- Reasons to take time off from work vary greatly.
A saleswoman at a Shenzhen company asked for a week's leave in November, for the unusual reason of feeling too ugly. What's more unusual is that her manager approved her request.
Such applications cover one of the most popular sections of the website. Whether real or imaginary, they make us chuckle.
The classiest leave request: being invited by a football team's president to watch a Spanish La Liga game.
• Marvelous reason: I have invested in a La Liga football team and was invited to watch one of their matches on November 23rd and to also attend a stockholder meeting.
The compassionate leave request: keeping a close eye on my wife on Single's Day.
