Miniaturist Deng Wei shows off Nuo culture masks he made in Nanfeng county, East China's Jiangxi province, April 19, 2015. Deng makes elaborate masks ranging from two meters to two millimeters in size, and earns about 100,000 yuan ($16,000) per year from his small street-side booth. Deng, 34, started to learn miniature engraving at 18. Nuo was originally a type of sacrificial and magical ritual in ancient China held to expel evil spirits and pestilence.
