Unsecured security booth looms above Shanghai sidewalk

A Weibo user in Shanghai snapped a picture of a security booth straddling the sides of a half-meter tall flower bed along Pudong New Area's Yanggaozhong Road.
The two-meter tall guard box sticks out over the sides of the short stem wall, with its four caster wheels suspended in mid air, reads the message posted by "Liangmintiaoci", an account often linked to that of Shanghai-based Xinmin Evening News.
Iron guy wires fastened to large stones beside the flower bed hold the booth in place.
According to the post, a security guard at the booth explained it was property of the adjacent hotel supplies market and was placed on the wall so it wouldn't block the entrance or sidewalk.
