(ECNS) -- Beijing has released 10 songs to support the city's bid to host the 2022 Winter Olympics, with Hong Kong kung fu star Jackie Chan and young celebrities joining in the chorus.

A theme song collection campaign, initiated by the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Bid Committee and the Beijing Olympic City Development Association (BODA), kicked off on August 8 last year and received many entries, including musical pieces by over 60 professional musicians.

From these, judges selected nine works and organizers recommend one piece called Wake Up Winter.

The songs cover different genres and have titles like Snow and Ice Dance, Return, Never Give Up, and Welcome to Great Wall Skiing. Jiang Xiaoyu, the deputy director of BODA, said music is one of the most important ways to promote the Olympics.

All the music pieces are now free to listen to on the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Bid Committee, QQ Music, and Beijing Music Radio websites.
