PLA to conduct live-ammunition drill in South China Sea

PLA will conduct live-ammunition drill and maritime training in the related waters in the South China Sea from today to Aug. 14, according to the official website of China Maritime Safety Administration. During the above-mentioned period of time, no vessel is allowed to enter the designated maritime areas.


The following are the coordination points for the lines drawn to demarcate the related prohibited waters:


1. 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Aug. 11: 18-49.55N 110-33.80E as the center, a radius of 3.24 sea miles.


2. 6 p.m., Aug. 12 to 6 a.m., Aug. 14: 20-05.2N 111-15.5E, 19-57.8N 111-19.0E, 19-55.0N 111-14.8E, 19-58.6N 111-11.2E


3. 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., Aug 12, 13: 18-49.55N 110-33.80E as the center, a radius of 2.5 sea miles.
