Luxury confinement service center opens in Chongqing

A luxury confinement service center charging as much as 100,000 yuan per month opens in southwest China's Chongqing City.
Located in a villa near South Hot Spring in Chongqing's Banan Distinct, the confinement service center was converted from a four-story, single-family villa, which includes a 700-square-meter garden and four suites, each with its own balcony and bathroom.
The size of the four rooms ranges from 40 square meters to 80 square meters.
The center also has an infant swimming pool, infant massage room, milk preparation room, yoga room, activity room, physical therapy room, a casual room and a shopping area.
A doctor and gynecologist come by every month to check the conditions of the mother and newborn, while a dietitian is on hand to prepare meals for each mother according to their respective conditions.
The head of the confinement service center said that the facility only has openings for four pregnant women every month, all of whom are allowed to be accompanied by one family member. Every single pregnant woman is serviced by a private confinement attendant.
Being that each room is tailored to the needs of each individual mother, prices for suites start from 40,000 yuan and can go for more than 100,000 yuan, the head added.
At present, two pregnant women have booked the service.
