The number of candidates for the 2016 national civil service exam has surpassed last year's numbers, with more than 132,000 applicants on Tuesday-the most in a single day-deemed qualified for the exam.
2016年国考报名人数已超过去年,20日的通过审核人数超过13.2万人,创单日新高.
The most sought-after job as of Tuesday remained a position offered by the China Employment Training Technical Instruction Center in Beijing, which had drawn 1,430 applicants.
截止20日,最热门职位来自中国就业培训技术指导中心的一个岗位,吸引了1430位报名者.
However, another 876 jobs being offered have not registered a single applicant as of Tuesday.
同时,尚有876个职位无人报名.
又是一年国考(national civil service exam)时,虽然近两年屡屡有报道说国考在降温(losing its appeal),但是不少中央职位(jobs offered by central government departments and subsidiaries)仍然倍受青睐.最热门职位(the most sought-after job)的竞争比例依然超过1000:1,而冷门职位(the least sought-after job)则无人问津,这一类职位多数是县(区)级及以下职位(jobs at or below the county or district level).
国考的笔试阶段分为行政能力测试(administrative professional ability test)和申论(argumentative essay writing)两部分.通过笔试者,才有资格参加之后的面试.
