China's broader money supply, known as M2, was up 13.9 percent from a year earlier to 94.48 trillion yuan ending November, central bank data showed.
That compared with a growth of 15.9 percent ending October, and 12.7 percent in the same month a year ago.
M1, a narrow measure which covers cash in circulation plus demand deposits, grew 5.5 percent year-on-year to reach 29.69 trillion yuan in the month, 0.6 percent and 2.3 percent lower than that in growth in the last month and the same month a year ago, respectively, the People's Bank of China said while announcing a slew of economic data.
It said new yuan deposits in the month were 473.9 billion yuan, up 151 billion year-on-year while fiscal deposits were down 114.9 billion in the month.
