Red Cross Blue Sky Rescue Team, equipped with an underwater life detector, worked with the soldiers trying to save more lives. Xie Qiao, a soldier who helped rescue earthquake victims in Yunnan province on Aug 3, died while saving a senior from a river. A 6.5-magnitude earthquake have so far killed at least 617 people and injured more than 3,000 in the southwestern China's remote area. [Photo by Shan Juan/chinadaily.com.cn]
