1. 20 kinds of certificates abolished
Local police stations will not issue certificates for 20 items below as long as the individuals have their ID cards or household registration: name, used name, gender, ID number, date of birth, place of birth, address, family relations and others.
2. Simplifying the process of drawing housing provident funds
From Sept 1, employees will need to fill only an application form and receive authorities' approval to withdraw housing provident funds.
The retirees can draw housing provident funds without any additional documents. People who have housing provident funds can buy second-hand houses without any documents apart from ID.
3. Restrictions on online ads
The regulation defines paid search ads promoting products or services as internet advertisement.
It said internet advertisements need to be marked as "ads".
The ads involved with medical service, medication, food for special medical purposes, medical instruments, farm chemicals, veterinary medicine, health care products cannot be issued without inspection.
Pop-up ads are required to clearly display the "close" sign and should close as soon as the user clicks on the sign.
4. Regulating travel agencies
New regulations issued by China National Tourism Administration bans travel agencies from September 1 from restricting clients based on their age.
It said travel agencies cannot reject seniors; travel groups have to have doctors; senior travelers should not be made to travel more than two hours at a stretch.
5. No truck with double-row seat on expressway
Since Sept 21, truck with double-row seat will not be allowed on expressway as the regulations tighten the standard of vehicles on expressways.
6. Specific medical security regulations on floating population
People can transfer their medical security to another province where they live and the process would take only 45 days from September 1.
7. Cut in commission charges of bank cards
China's central bank said in March that it will cut the fees merchants pay for bank card transactions. The action, to take effect on Sept 6, will result in a 7.4 billion yuan ($1.14 billion) cut in the fees merchants pay in a year, the People's Bank of China said on its website.
Under the coming policy, card-issuing banks cannot charge merchants more than 0.35 percent of a transaction amount for debit cards, while credit card transactions cannot incur a charge exceeding 0.45 percent of the amount swiped.
8. Favorable terms on charity
China's Charity Law will take effect on Sept 1.
Charity organizations, donors and beneficiaries will be the main body of charity events and benefit from the tax preference.
Charity events on poverty relief will enjoy more benefits.
